NFL star Khyree Jackson crash pictures emerge after fatal collision
Khyree Jackson was a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft but tragically lost his life in a high-speed car crash on Sunday morning, with a picture showing the wreckage of the vehicle
Newly released images have shown the wreckage of the car that Minnesota Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson was travelling in when he tragically lost his life in a high-speed crash.
The fatal three-car collision, which took the life of fourth-round NFL Draft pick Jackson, reportedly occurred when 23 year old Cori Clingman attempted a high-speed lane change and hit the vehicle. Investigators have suggested that alcohol may have been a “contributing circumstance in the crash.”
The accident took place in Jackson’s hometown of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with his mother receiving the devastating news of her son’s death just minutes later.
Jackson, along with close friends Isaiah Hazel, who was driving the Dodge, and backseat passenger Anthony Lytton Jr, were heading northbound in a maroon Dodge Charger near Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue.

“Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash that claimed three lives this morning in Prince George’s County…” read a statement from the police. “Investigators believe Clingman attempted to change lanes while driving at a high rate of speed when she struck the Dodge Charger and then struck the Chevrolet Impala. The Charger subsequently traveled off of the right side of the roadway and struck multiple tree stumps where the vehicle came to rest.”
Sadly, both Jackson and Hazel were pronounced dead at the scene due to the wreckage of the crash, while Lytton Jr was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. Ebbony, Jackson’s mother, revealed that she was informed about the fatal incident around 4am.

Clingman had two passengers in his car at the time of the accident, while a Chevrolet Impala involved in the crash was driven by a lone motorist. Miraculously, all passengers from these two vehicles escaped the incident without injuries.
Criminal charges are pending as the Maryland State Police Crash Team spearheads an investigation.
Tributes have been flooding in for Jackson. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell expressed his devastation, saying: “I am absolutely crushed by this news. Khyree brought a contagious energy to our facility and our team. His confidence and engaging personality immediately drew his teammates to him.”
“In our short time together, it was evident Khyree was going to develop into a tremendous professional football player, but what was more impressive was his desire to become the best person he could be for his family and those around him. I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches.”
Vikings rookie quarterback and fellow 2024 draft pick, JJ McCarthy, paid tribute, saying: “Too much ahead of him. Rest in peace to a phenomenal athlete but more importantly a really —– great man. See you in the next life fam.”
