Wildcard Francesca Jones won against American Caroline Dolehide, the No 8 seed, 7-6 (3), 6-3 to reach the last 16 of the Nottingham Open at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Tuesday evening.

Jones, ranked No 249, will face American Ashlyn Krueger next.
