Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach Jacie Hoyt announces pregnancy

Jacie Hoyt announced a “new roster addition” on Thursday, and it’s a big one for the Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach.

Hoyt and her husband Daniel Heflin, OSU’s associate athletic director for development, are expecting a child in December.

“Surprise,” Hoyt posted on X on Thursday. “We’ve got a new roster addition coming in December! We are thrilled and grateful for God’s perfect timing in our life. Not sure if Buzz feels the same, but he will come around.”

Hoyt, 37, is entering her third season at the helm of the Cowgirls. OSU has yet to announce its full schedule for the 2024-25 season.
