One lucky Irish EuroMillions player wins huge €500,000 prize in Tuesday’s draw

One lucky Irish person is set to be rolling in the dough this Wednesday morning after scooping up the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s Euromillions Plus draw.

The golden ticket was purchased online and was the only one to bag the hefty half a million euro prize. Meanwhile, 32 other Irish players are set to pocket €2,000 each, with an additional 1,811 players winning €20. No one managed to nab the Euromillions jackpot of €17 million, with the largest amount won by an Irish player in the main draw being a modest €998. This was one of 34,000 prizes ranging from €4 to €500,000 won between the two draws.

The lucky numbers for Tuesday night’s Euromillions Plus draw were 11, 14, 18, 29 and 32. Euromillions players will have another shot at the jackpot in Friday night’s draw, with the prize pot yet to be announced. If you’re the fortunate soul who’s won the top prize, the National Lottery recommends getting in touch with their Claims Department on 1800 666 222 (Mon-Fri 9.15am-5.30pm), where they’ll help you sort out your winnings, reports the Irish Mirror.

For any further assistance, the National Lottery support team can be reached at (01) 889 1000 or via email at support@lottery. ie. They’re available from 8am to 9pm, seven days a week.
