Over 200 celebrated artists from across the world coming to Wexford for Art in the Open festival

Up to 200 artists from across the world will be in Wexford this summer for the annual Art in the Open festival. Running from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 28 this year’s festival will culminate in a major exhibition of works in Green Acres Gallery on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.
The artists will start painting in Wexford town early on the morning of Saturday, July 20 with the annual charity quick draw event, which this year is in aid of the RNLI, taking place in the Bullring from 3-5 p.m. Some of the artists will give masterclasses and workshops throughout the festival with presentations at the National Opera House and the Arts Centre during the week open to the public.
