Paddy McKillen Jr sells The Lucky Duck pub in Dublin city centre for less than €2m

Paddy McKillen Jr has sold The Lucky Duck pub at 43 Aungier Street, Dublin 2.

The sale price was not disclosed, however it is believed to have been bought by a private investor for less than the €2m which agent CBRE had been quoting for it earlier this year.

Mr McKillen’s Oakmount development group acquired the property in 2017 from Dublin city council for €831,000 after it had been closed for a number of years.

It was bought primarily as a restoration project with the intention to offer for sale once the business was established.
