Paypal announce job losses which could affect those formerly based in Dundalk office
In January, PayPal announced plans to cut around 2,500 jobs – or 9 per cent – of its global workforce.
PayPal is cutting 85 jobs in Ireland.
The financial tech company says it informed employees today – but says the proposed cuts are subject to consultation and no redundancies will take effect until that process has concluded.
In a statement sent to LMFM a spokesperson said: “We are not sharing a breakdown in how the total number will be split between people based in Dublin and those working remotely who were formerly based in our old Dundalk office – this is subject to consultation.”
