Peter Phillips and new girlfriend look loved-up as they kiss at polo
ROYAL heartthrob Peter Phillips and his NHS nurse girlfriend put on a very public display of love and affection – just weeks after The Sun revealed the couple had started a new relationship together.
Peter, 46, who is Princess Anne’s son, joined new girlfriend Harriet Sperling, 44, for the “festival of Polo” at the Beaufort Club in Tetbury.
The loved-up couple drank wine, cuddled, and kissed while watching the games in the sunshine.
They were seen getting friendly in a marquee during the three-day festival at Beaufort Polo Club.
Pals say the couple are dating but are said to be taking their new relationship one step at a time.
Harriet, a paediatric nurse specialist with the NHS, was first seen hand-in-hand with Peter at the Badminton Horse Trials last month.
Wearing a long blue dress and sunglasses on Saturday she ran her hands over his shoulders in an affectionate hug and shared kisses with her royal lover.
Peter, who is King Charles’s eldest nephew and described as the late Queen’s ‘favourite grandson’, was born fifth in line to the throne but is now in 18th.
Blonde beauty Harriet has worked at Evelina London Children’s Hospital for more than a decade.
An eyewitness said: “They couldn’t keep their hands off each other and didn’t care who was watching.
“There is no question they are a loved up couple. Peter’s had his relationship ups and downs in recent years but looks over the moon.
“They way things are going we could see them together at Royal Ascot this month or he could even take her to meet the King and rest of the Royal Family at Balmoral this summer.”
Sources close to the couple said they are taking it “one step at a time”.
Although Queen Camilla was present with Harriet and Peter at Badminton last month.
Pals of the couple are said to be enjoying each other’s company and confirmed they are dating.
A friend said: “Peter is very much focused on work at the moment. He’s enjoying time with Harriet.”
It is understood that Peter attended the polo on Saturday for a charity luncheon and fundraiser for LAP Research UK (Liver and Pancreas Research UK) of which he has been patron for ten years.
It comes just weeks after divorcee Peter, who is Princess Anne’s eldest son and 18th in line to the throne, split from lover Lindsay Wallace, 43.
Sources told The Sun the three-year relationship had simply “run its course”.
Peter has two children, Savannah 14, and 12-year-old Isla, with ex-wife Autumn Kelly, 46, and they announced their divorce in June 2021.
King Charles, 75, and Prince William, 41, have previously attended the Beaufort polo bash but were relaxing after busy weeks.
The Sun revealed that Charles was determined to attend D-Day commemorations in both Portsmouth and Normandy despite having cancer treatment on Tuesday.
William, who attended both days and stood in for his father on doctor’s orders at the international ceremony on Omaha Beach, was also an usher at society wedding of the year of Hugh Grosvenor and Olivia Henson in Chester, on Friday.
His three-day workload was seen as a clear indicator that the Princess of Wales’s recovery from cancer was continuing well.

Kate, 42, sent a letter to the Irish Guards apologising that she had to pull out of the Colonel’s Review on Saturday.
In a signed message, the princess said: “Please pass my apologies to the whole Regiment, however I do hope that I am able to represent you all once again very soon. Please send my very best wishes and good luck to all involved.”
