Pippa Middleton steps into Kate’s shadow to support her at an important moment
Sunday’s Wimbledon men’s final was a special one, not only because it featured Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, but because Pippa Middleton made a surprise appearance at the event.
The 40-year-old joined sister Kate Middleton and niece Princess Charlotte. The appearance took on even more significance as Kate continues her cancer treatment.
Pippa joined Kate as they took their seat in the Royal Box above Centre Court. Kate’s appearance garnered a standing ovation, as it is only the second time she has made a public appearance this year as she continues to focus on her health.
Her first public appearance came back on June 15 as she attended Trooping the Colour for King Charles’ birthday parade.
All three came dressed to impress, with Kate donning a purple dress by Safiyaa. Pippa impressed in a white and red Beulah London floral dress, which she first wore to the 2021 wedding of younger brother James Middleton to Alize Thevenet.
As for Princess Charlotte, she struck a classic look thanks to her navy dress and white polka dots, which echoed the same dress the Princess of Wales wore to Wimbledon back in 2022.
Family rallying around Kate
Kate’s ongoing health battle has seen her family strengthen their support of her, as her parents Carole and Michael have given her additional help.
Carole has helped her daughter with dropping the children off at school, while Pippa and James have also been willing to help when needed.
Pippa and Kate’s parents have been spotted in attendance at Wimbledon on two occasions since it began back on July 1, as they were spotted with All England Chair Debbie Jevans in the Royal Box back on July 4.
