Planning received for glamping facility at Cheekpoint | WLRFM.com

An application has been submitted for the construction of a glamping site at Cheekpoint.

The application received on Tuesday will consist of 6 serviced glamping pods in the Coolbunia area of Cheekpoint Co. Waterford.

A wastewater treatment plant would also be included in the works, alongside a new entrance, borewell water supply, and all other associated site development works.

Glamping has become popular in recent years, offering campers a luxury camping experience compared to the traditional style.

A decision is due back by August 8th.
