Police investigating jewelry store robbery at Fashion Show Mall on Las Vegas Strip
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Police say they are investigating a theft reported at a jewelry store inside the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip Monday evening.
Several police vehicles and officers could be seen at the mall, located on the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, that they were responding to a theft.
“Reports of a shooting are unfounded,” the post states.
LVMPD later said they got reports of a possible robbery in progress inside the mall at about 6:09 p.m. Officers learned several people in dark clothing stole several items from a jewelry store.
Commercial robbery detectives are on scene and investigating. Police say any report of gunfire from the incident is unsubstantiated.
