Popular Irish pub’s 23K makeover unveiled as photos show iconic sign change

A popular Galway pub has had a major makeover this week as new signage is unveiled with a 23-karat detail.

The former Richardsons pub in Eyre Square changed hands several months ago to be renamed ‘Jack J Foleys’ and now has a fresh lick of paint to continue the rebrand.

The signs were hand painted with 23.5 gold leaf as new owners the O’Connor family take the reigns.
