Popular Wexford principal retires after 20 years – ‘I’ll miss the fun, the interactions, the camaraderie’

As she bid farewell to the the children, the staff, and the parents of Scoil Mhuire in Coolcotts, Mags Jordan’s heart was fit to burst, both with pride and joy. Principal at the school for the last nine years, Mags was treated to a number of musical performances from pupils and teachers alike last Friday afternoon as her retirement from Scoil Mhuire was officially marked.
Including a video from first class, during which pupils speculated on how she might spend her retirement, this day of celebrations and tributes left Mags in no doubt as to why her school was the very best in the world.
