Preparing for your Journey
We would like your journey through the airport to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Travelling through Dublin Airport can be daunting, particularly if you have a condition or disability that can impact your mobility or experience. We hope that the information provided here will help you to prepare for your journey.
Please note that if you require assistance through your airport journey, please contact your airline, tour operator or travel agent directly or pre-book through the mobile app PRM Assist, at least 48 hours in advance of travel. PRM Assist is available to download from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. For more information, click here.
Accessible and helpful facilities
- To view car park facilities for persons with reduced mobility in the Long Term and Short Term car parks, please click here.
- Accessible washroom facilities are located throughout the airport journey.
- A series of induction loops to facilitate the amplification of announcements for passengers with hearing difficulties.
- Set down areas are located kerbside at the entrances of both terminals. These areas are for drop off only. Please do not park in these areas; use the short-term car park when picking up an arriving passenger.
- A Sensory Room is available in each terminal, after Security Screening. For more information, click here.
- Changing Places facilities are located in the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1 and after Security Screening in Terminal 2.
- An Assistance Dog Relief Room is located after Security Screening in Terminal 2.

Real-time flight updates
You can receive flight status updates direct to your phone, by downloading the Dublin Airport app or on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, by subscribing to your flight from the departures flight section of dublinairport.com.
Departing passengers will receive updates on their gate number, final call, boarding, gate closure, departure and flight delays.
Those tracking an arriving flight will receive updates on the departure time, flight delays, expected landing time, when the flight is on approach, landing time and the baggage belt number.
