Primetime 585: Iglesia Free Basketball Camp

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Iglesia Free Basketball Camp is invite only, both for boys and girls. The idea is to bring in the best of the best.

At first the organizers from Primetime 585 did not invite players from some of the remote tips of Section Five, figuring those families would not drive an hour-plus all week for a camp.

They were wrong.

Over half of the players at this year’s girls camp come from at least 40 minutes away, with many driving over an hour both ways four straight days for the camp.

A few families even will rent a place to stay for the week, figuring a camp of equal quality would cost more for their kids anyway.
