Princess Eugenie living with a scar for years

Prince Eugenie shows off her scar in new post

Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter Princess Eugenie on Wednesday proudly revealed her scare she has lived with for years.

Princess Eugenie sent a message to the world with her new post, saying: “Let’s be proud of our scars!”

34-year-old princess, who married to Jack Brooksbank in 2018, shared her iconic photo on her Instagram to mark the Scoliosis Awareness Day.

In the picture, she’s seen in her white wedding dress with a low back, designed to display her scar from an operation which took place when she was 12 years old.

She wrote: “Today is International Scoliosis Awareness Day. I just wanted to share my scar and encourage anyone out there who’s gone through something similar to share theirs with me.”

To encourage the people who suffer from it, She added: “Let’s be proud of our scars! I’d love to repost any of your images on my stories so please tag me and I will share.”

She continued: “To all of you who have just received the diagnosis, to those wearing braces, to those recovering from an operation and for those who have lived with a scar for years – My thoughts are with you on Scoliosis Awareness Day. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and researchers at scoliosis_sr”

Eugenie’s latest post comes amid royal family’s health woes as King Charles and Princess Kate underwent major surgeries before being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Princess Eugenie had major surgery on her back to treat a curvature of the spine in 2002.
