Publisher drops sexual misconduct book after professor objects – Research Professional News

Co-editor claims book on harassment in academia “silenced” after Routledge “reverts all rights” to authors

A book on sexual misconduct in academia, from which a chapter was withdrawn last year after a prominent sociologist alleged he was identified in relation to claims of harassment, has now been dropped by its publisher.

Routledge, part of Taylor & Francis, confirmed to Research Professional News it had reverted full rights of Sexual Misconduct in Academia: Informing an Ethics of Care in the University back to the editors and contributors.
