Racecourse brawl sees man left with fractured eye socket and 3 people arrested
Three people were arrested after a man was left with a fractured eye socket following a racecourse brawl.
The shocking incident happened at Thirsk Racecourse in England, with at least four people assaulted during the brawl. A man was taken to hospital with a fractured eye socket. He has since been discharged.
The brawl broke out around 6.45pm on Saturday, May 18, and involved a number of parties, reports Teeside Live. A full investigation is underway and North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any racing spectators who may have captured the incident on their phones to get in contact.

Three men, aged between 19 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). A force spokesperson said: “As part of our investigation, we’re urging anyone who saw it happen but has not yet spoken to us to get in touch. We’re particularly appealing for any video footage that may have captured the incident.”
