Now Honeysuckle is enjoying life as a mother after giving birth to her first foal in March, a filly by Walk in the Park.
And Blackmore has used some of her summer holidays to visit mother and daughter at Peter Molony’s Rathmore Stud in Limerick.
Molony posted pictures of Blackmore, Honeysuckle, and the foal on social media, which show how quickly the foal has grown.
Honeysuckle ran her last race in March 2023 when winning a second Mares’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
Having cost €110,000 after winning a point-to-point, she went on to win 13 Grade 1 and accumulate close to €2,000,000 in prize money.
