Reed & Mackay to unveil enhanced booking tool
Reed & Mackay has revealed its latest enhancements to its R&M/Book platform which have been designed to offer a “more intuitive” shopping experience for users.
The TMC, which is part of the Navan Group, is unveiling the upgraded R&M/Book portal at this week’s Business Travel Show Europe show in London.
The improved proprietary online booking tool, which is being rolled out to Reed & Mackay clients globally, will give users the ability to access a wide range of airline fares and options from a single global view. This will include pricing, as well as information on sustainability and flight experiences, to allow travellers to make the “smartest and most cost-effective purchase decisions”.
The booking platform will now provide travellers with seat maps and the latest updates on inflight entertainment systems and onboard wifi services. There will also be a “snaphot view” of changes and cancellation rules, including any cancellation fees.
Fahim Khan, the TMC’s global director of product, said: “We have a truly cutting-edge booking platform, built on a vision to create an expansive shop front for business travel. A connected, omnichannel shopping experience is available to our growing, global client base – whichever way they decide to book and manage their travel programme with us.
“Everything has been designed to deliver better experiences, value and long-term cost effectiveness for our clients.”
Reed & Mackay is also promising further enhancements to the booking tool over the course of the year.
Navan Group, incorporating Reed & Mackay, was ranked as the fourth largest TMC in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024 with gross European sales of €3.5 billion in 2023. The company was the third largest TMC in the UK and fifth largest agency in Germany.
