Reese Witherspoon, 48, showcases her cleavage in low-cut bathing suit

Reese Witherspoon showcased her incredible figure in a low-cut bathing suit while on vacation in Italy. 

The 48-year-old movie star flashed her ample cleavage in the black one-piece, which had buttons along the neckline.

The Sweet Home Alabama star posed in the swimsuit while enjoying time on a boat with pals off the coast of Portofino on Thursday.

The blonde actress went makeup free and pulled her hair back into a casual bun, highlighting her natural beauty.

After their boat day, Reese was seen enjoying shopping and lunch with her pals while in Portofino and San Fruttuoso.

The star sat with her bathing suit-clad friends in the back of the boat; the stunner grinned ear to ear as she posed for pictures as a group.

Reese added an oversized white button up dress with a matching hat for when the group went to the town to explore.

The star carried a large woven tan tote. 

Later in the day, Reese was seen enjoying an al fresco lunch, which included a delicious plate of spaghetti.

Soon after, Reese enjoyed an ice cream cone while going shopping.

She carried a woven Prada tote as she perused the shops.

Her sighting comes just weeks after Reese reprised her role a Elle Woods to announce a new Legally Blonde tv series.

The star is developing a Legally Blonde spinoff tv series with the help of her production company Hello Sunshine. 

The star wore a pink tweed jacket and skirt like Elle as she went on stage at Amazon’s Upfronts in New York City in mid-May.

Reese pretended to look for her dog Bruiser as she went on stage.

Then she said: ‘Guys, this is Bruiser! Thank you, I’m just glad you found him.’ to Jen Salke, Head of Amazon and MGM Studios.

Alan Moss, the vice president of global ad sales for Amazon Ads, accidentally dropped his pen.

Reese then did the famous ‘bend and snap’ her character does in the movie.

‘Alan, I got it. Because when you get nervous in front of a really big group of people that you’re trying to impress, all you have to do is bend and snap.’

Reese said of the project: ‘I had this crazy idea that the world would want to know the origin story of Elle Woods.’

Adding: ‘So here I am, to officially tell you the most amazing news every, which is that we’re going back to high school with Elle.’

‘Before she became the most famous Gemini vegetarian to graduate from Harvard law school, she was just a regular 90s high school girl.’

Reese concluded: ‘And, thanks to Amazon and Hello Sunshine, all of you are going to get to know her in this new series on Amazon Prime Video. I’m so excited.’

The series will be titled Elle – and will follow her through high school, and what led her to when she was heading to Harvard.

Reese will executive produce the series alongside Lauren Neustadter, Lauren Kisilevsky, Marc Platt and Laura Kittrell, who created the upcoming series and is also set to serve as showrunner.

Legally Blonde was released in 2001, with Reese as Elle Woods, Matthew Davis playing Warner Huntington III and Jennifer Coolidge as Paulette Bonafonte; Selma Blair and Victor Garber also starred in it. 

The sequel Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde was released in 2003.
