Referee confirmed for Limerick v Cork All-Ireland Hurling Championship semi-final

CROKE PARK officials have confirmed Waterford referee Thomas Walsh will be the man in the middle for the Limerick v Cork All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi final.

The last four clash takes place on Sunday, July 7 at 4pm in Croke Park.

Walsh hasn’t refereed any of Limerick’s championship games this season but was on the whistle for Cork’s Munster SHC win over Tipperary in mid-May.

Walsh was the referee for two of Limerick’s Allianz League games – the round one win over Antrim and the final group game which was a drawn tie with Galway.

Walsh has refereed Limerick in championship previously – the 2022 All-Ireland semi-final win over Galway. Limerick GAA supporters will also be familar with Walsh from the 2022 All-Ireland U20 final loss to Kilkenny and Ardscoil Ris’ All-Ireland Senior Post Primary Schools final success of ’22.

Galway’s Liam Gordon referees the Clare v Kilkenny semi-final.
