“Ribbon Runway” for Breast Cancer An Evening of Style, Solidarity and Support

An Evening of Style, Solidarity and Support

Breastcare by Alison is back once again with the annual “Ribbon Runway” fashion show in aid of the North Louth Hospice. Taking place at the picturesque Golf Course in Blackrock, Dundalk on Fri, May 17th, this promises to be another amazing ladies’ night out to enjoy this season’s style from local boutiques Sheba, Ozone and Ruby Nu, as well as swimwear from Breastcare by Alison. Once again, the evening will be hosted by Caroline McElroy, stylist and presenter.

“Ribbon Runway” isn’t just a fashion show, every year it has proved to be a powerful statement of support and solidarity. It’s for breast cancer patients by Breast Care survivors, while also spreading awareness at the same time. Many of the ladies gracing the runway will be breast cancer survivors, making this event a deeply liberating and empowering experience for each one of them.

Alison McCabe, founder of Breastcare by Alison says, “I’m so proud of my ladies who are going to strut their stuff on the night, proving that you can look and feel gorgeous at any stage of this journey. The North Louth Hospice provides such vital services when people are at their most vulnerable and is so deserving of support.”

“Alison is the passionate force behind Breast Care by Alison. She has dedicated herself to assist and support all those affected by breast cancer. Her tireless efforts have made a significant impact in the lives of many individuals. The fashion show is a testament to her unwavering commitment to help people in need,” added Karen Finnegan, one of Alison’s clients.

Tickets are €25 and include a glass of bubbly, with 100% going to the North Louth Hospice. These are available at all participating boutiques or online through Eventbrite. On the night there will be raffles; a prize for Best Dressed Lady and various spot prizes, including a hamper sponsored by Neven Maguire, who is a strong supporter of Breastcare by Alison and the work she does.
