Ronan Keating sparks concern for wife with cryptic tattoo post

Ronan Keating has sparked concern for his wife Storm Keating this week whilst showcasing a tattoo tribute to her.

The singer-songwriter, 47, took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to share a photo of the tattoo. It’s said to depict a samurai warrior and in the accompanying caption Ronan paid tribute to his wife Storm, 42, who he tagged in the post.

He wrote in the caption: “For you my warrior today and every day. My Stormy. A challenge ahead but your strength blows my mind. With you every step.” Ronan concluded by writing to his wife in the message earlier: “Love you baby.”

Ronan however didn’t provide any information about the “challenge ahead” and the post has prompted concern among fans. Some of his followers took to the comments section to express well wishes, including fellow celebrities.

BBC Radio 2 host Zoe Ball wrote: “Sending you all love and strength.” Whilst former Neighbours cast member Natalie Bassingthwaighte – who was a judge alongside Ronan on the X Factor in Australia for several years – reacted to the post: “Sending you both so much love. Hope she is ok.”

One fan commented: “Love and hugs. Hope she is OK.” Someone else wrote: “Awww hope Storm is okay. Wish you and your family the best.” Another person responded to the post: “Hope all is okay, whatever it is – you got this Storm.”

“Sending love and prayers,” someone else wrote in their reply. Whilst another follower asked in the comments section: “I hope Storm is ok?” Another person wrote: “Hope Storm is ok, sending hugs to everyone.” One fan said in their response to Ronan: “Sending love with whatever is going on.”

Others took the opportunity to compliment him on the tattoo tribute. One person said: “Beautiful tattoo [Ronan] – hope [Storm] is ok.” Another wrote: “Beautiful, hoping Storm is ok.” Whilst a third person reacted: “Hope Storm is ok, love the tattoo. Sending lots of love and positive prayers.”

Former Boyzone member Ronan has a number of tattoos, with him having estimated in an interview with the Guardian back in 2011 that he had 12 at the time. He’s however understood to have since got additional inkings.

It includes the tattoo tribute to his wife Storm which was featured in the post this week. He unveiled that tattoo in 2022, sharing a photo of it with his followers on Instagram and discussing the meaning behind it in the caption.

Addressing his followers, Ronan wrote in the post shared two years ago: “Say hello to my latest creation my Japanese samurai warrior called Storm. She is powerful but calm. Strong and quiet. She embodies everything my [wife] is.”
