Roscommon businessman discusses tactics with Supermacs owner – News – Roscommon Herald
A popular County Roscommon businessman ended up having a chat, and a takeaway, with Supermacs owner Pat McDonagh earlier this week.
Ray Gannon, who runs Gannon’s Poultry, was pictured with the Supermacs boss at one of Supermacs’ outlets in County Westmeath.
“Pat McDonagh insisted on getting his photo taken with me in Kinnegad Plaza this evening,” quipped Ray on social media.
Given that Gannon’s Poultry has been in operation since 1875, Ray, was no doubt, giving one of Ireland’s most successful businessmen a few tips about longevity.
Ray is also a proud Roscommon GAA sponsor, and his business is the current sponsor of the Division One Football League (O’Rourke Cup) in the county.
Gannon’s Poultry is the longest-running egg and poultry business in Ireland and the oldest business in Carrick-on-Shannon.
