Royal Ascot 2024 day 1 full race card and tips – list of runners on Tuesday

Royal Ascots kicks off on Tuesday as Aidan O’Brien looks set to dominate proceedings at the prestigious meeting once again.

The Ballydoyle maestro remains the man bookmakers fear the most heading into this year’s meeting. Although his squad for day one is not as strong as it is for later in the week.

But Henry Longfellow and Camille Pissarro both look to have good chances in the St James’s Palace Stakes and Coventry Stakes respectively, while Unquestionable is an outsider in the same race as Henry Longfellow.

But today’s nap is Big Evs for trainer Michael Appleby, with Tom Marquand on board, in the King Charles III Stakes. The three-year-old enjoyed a brilliant juvenile campaign, which concluded with victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint and he made a winning seasonal reappearance when landing at listed race at York last month.
