Royal Ascot day 2 full race card and tips – list of runners on Tuesday

Willie Mullins was the only Irish trainer to record a victory on the opening day of Royal Ascot – but both Aidan and Joseph O’Brien are fancied to get off the mark on Wednesday.

The Ballydoyle maestro went close on day one, with Henry Longfellow beaten by just a neck by Rosallion in the St James’s Palace Stakes. And he could get a winner on the board in the very first race on Wednesday.




Ryan Moore partners Truly Enchanting, who won on debut at Tipperary last month, in the Queen Mary, a race which O’Brien has never won.

Meanwhile, one of the clashes of the week comes in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at 4.25pm and sees O’Brien’s Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Auguste Rodin collide with Breeder’s Cup Filly & Mare Turf victor Inspiral, while Rogue Millennium is aiming to win the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes for a second successive year after recently moving to Joseph O’Brien’s yard from Tom Clover’s.
