RTE star shares sweet snap with rarely-seen son after making huge career move

RTE star Lottie Ryan has shared some cute snaps with her rarely-seen son after landing a huge new radio gig.

The late legend Gerry Ryan‘s daughter was recently announced as a replacement for The 2 Johnnies drivetime show.

Alongside her brand new co-host David O’Reilly, the pair will be on air Monday-Friday from 3-6pm on 2FM Drive with Lottie and David. 

The dynamic duo aired their first show of the season on Tuesday and it’s safe to say fans were loving it.

Lottie took to Instagram after her first week on the popular station and shared some snaps of herself winding down at home with her family.

In one picture, the Dublin woman looked happy as ever as she posed on her couch in a glamorous outfit.

The radio host donned a beautiful grey knitted cardigan from Zara.

Lottie opted to style the cardigan with some stylish wide leg trousers from Massimo Dutti.

The mum-of-one tied the cute look together with some simple beige coloured Adidas Gazelle trainers and a simple gold chain necklace.

Lottie’s three-year-old son, Wolf, could be seen in the background of the photos playing with toys on the floor.

A separate picture also revealed the 38-year-old and her little one snuggling up together as they posed with big smiles in front of a mirror.

Another fun snap showed Lottie with her lips pouted and her hand up in a peace sign.

The Irish star captioned her post: “snapshots”.

Fans and friends all ran to the Instagram comments to share some love for Lottie and her son.

Lottie’s sister, Bonnie Ryan wrote: “Hi wolfyyy” accompanied by a love heart emoji.

Geoff commented: “Such beauty and what a great mama”.

After RTE 2FM announced their new summer schedule, Lottie was quick to break her silence to share her excitement about her major new role.

Taking to her Instagram, the 38-year-old shared a picture of herself and David.

In the picture, Lottie was wearing a fabulous black top while David sported a white tee paired with a grey jacket.

The pair were all smiles as they posed alongside each other for the picture.

The mum-of-one captioned her post: “Fasten your seatbelts/buckle up/get ready to ride… how many other puns can I come up with?!

“It’s ‘Drive with Lottie and David’ It all kicks off on @rte2fm Tuesday from 3 – 6pm!!!”
