The popular chat show airs every Monday to Friday at 3.30pm.

However, the series has wrapped up for its annual summer break as they signed off this evening.

Maura got all dolled up for the final show wearing leopard print trousers and a matching top.

She finished off her look wearing a black blazer and put on some statement gold earrings.

While Daithi dressed for the occasion wearing grey trousers, a denim shirt and a navy blazer.

At the end of the programme this evening, the pair took a few moments to thank their listeners.

Maura frowned as she looked at Daithi and said: “This is our last show.”

Daithi replied: “Can’t believe it. It’s very important to say we’re nothing without you at home.”

The Rose of Tralee host said: “That’s all. We are back in September. Have a lovely summer, hopefully the weather will be good.

Maura finished off saying: “Enjoy the festivals. Come see Daithi on the 8th, I dunno – come see me somewhere else. Have a wonderful summer, bye!”

Daithi added: “God bless.”

The jam-packed season was filled with new hosts as Sinead Kennedy left for maternity leave in November 2023.

Maura, who usually presents the show every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, fronted for the entire week until Christmas, before going back to her usual schedule.

‘GREAT’

At the beginning of this year, guest presenters began to host alongside Daithi on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Kerry native recently opened up about the busy season as he told RSVP Magazine: “It’s going really well. There’s always a worry that the audience at home only likes seeing the same people every day.

“We tried this out before, on Sinead’s first maternity leave, and it worked really well. We’ve had Laura Woods, Lorraine Keane, Ciara Revins, Meghann Scully, James Patrice, Tracy Clifford and Elaine Kinsella in studio and they’ve all been great.

“They fitted in well. The viewing figures have been very high. Of course I’m still presenting with Maura Derrane for half the week as well.”

The 40-year-old said: “I look forward to coming back to my job. Keep the seat warm for me because I’m not going anywhere!”
