Ryanair flyers are using a £35 underseat cabin bag to avoid paying extra costs

Anyone who has tried to save some money when booking a holiday this summer will be aware of the strict airline policies when it comes to luggage. These days, many plane tickets don’t come with the luxury of bringing a suitcase on board, unless you pay.

There are ways to maximise the carry on allowances, though, meaning you miss out on having to buy extra luggage or pay hefty fines at the airport. Many budget airlines like Ryanair, Jet2 and EasyJet allow you to carry on a bag that fits under the seat in front of you, free of charge.

While an old backpack from the depths of your wardrobe may suffice, it may not use the most of the luggage allowance. Luckily, we’ve spotted a spacious bag in three colourways that does just that.

The ISEO Rolltop Backpack 40X20X25cm by Cabin Max is available in green, blue and black is currently on sale for £35 down from £40. It has been designed to avoid unwanted luggage fees on airlines like Ryanair.

The bag features a a laptop pocket, front easy access pocket, bottle holder, as well as internal packing straps, easy grab handles, a rear trolley pass through and internal packing pockets. The 20L capacity bag has a dual access through easy-pack clamshell opening as a rolltop top opening for on-the-go packing. To comply with the hand luggage rules like Ryanair, ensure the rolltop opening is in its lowest position.

The backpack has been constructed from a lightweight, showerproof material that offers some protection against rain showers, perfect for when you find yourself in less than sunny locations. Plus, the material has been constructed from recycled plastic bottles, so you’re giving back to the planet.
