Sad goodbye for Galway as well known businesswoman retires
A Galway business has bid a sad goodbye to a beloved staff member who announced her retirement after over a decade of service.
Ana, of threading by Ana fame, held her retirement party recently in the Clayton Hotel in Galway after 11 years in business.
If you’ve walked through Eyre Square shopping centre, chances are you would have seen her business which was located at kiosk 17.

After holding her retirement party at the hotel, they wished her all the best in the next chapter of her life.
“We were very sad to say goodbye to Ana at the Clayton Hotel Galway on Monday as she retired after 11 years of threading and doing nails at Threading by Ana, Eyre Square. Farewell and good luck from all the staff.”
Understandably, the comment section was flooded with well wishes for Ana from former customers.
One said: “Best of good health and happiness in your next chapter Ana always a lovely professional place to get my threading done.”
A second person commented: “So long my friend, wishing you all the very best in your retirement. It has been a pleasure knowing you from the first day we met when you started out in Liosbain many years ago. Stay safe Ana.”
A third added: “Happy retirement Ana! Best of luck to you and wishing you happiness in your next adventure. Thanks for all the years of threading.”
