Shops including M&S, Argos, Dunelm, The Range and Homebase launch huge sales

SHOPS including M&S, Argos, Dunelm, The Range, and Homebase have launched huge sales for the summer period.

The retailers have slashed the prices of some garden furniture essentials including benches, BBQs, and pizza ovens.

If you’re looking to refurbish your garden or planning to spend more time outdoors over the next few weeks, it could be a good time to treat yourself to something special.

Always make sure to shop around to find the best deals, as these can change based on stock and availability in your location.

You can also compare prices on Google shopping or use deal-finding sites Latest Deals and HotUKDeals to stay on top of bargains.

And while some retailers offer free delivery when ordering online, others require you to pay for the item to be shipped and delivered to you.

Here are some of the best deals on garden furniture we’ve found for this summer.

M&S

Marks and Spencer is one of the retailers that have launched summer sales, with huge savings on items to decorate your home and garden.

Currently, the retailer is selling a two-seater garden bench from its Stroud range for £118.30, saving customers a whopping £50.70.

The bench’s metalwork on the back is formed into heart-like curves, and M&S says the item is easy to clean and maintain.

Nothing says summer more than a barbecue with your friends or family – and Argos has launched a great deal to help you organise your next gathering.

The retailer slashed the price of a charcoal BBQ to £70 – making you save 50% from its original price of £140.

The item has several positive reviews with a shopper describing it as “the best barbecue” and another saying it is easy to assemble.

Argos has also cut the price of the Keter Lima six-seater plastic garden patio set from £249 to £187, saving you £62.

Customers can also save 20% on a set of two wooden chairs with a small table, which are currently on sale for £128 – down from £160.

Argos is also selling a large garden storage box for £132, down from the original price of £165.

Dunelm

Dunelm has also launched its sale, including some clearance items you could use to decorate your garden this summer.

One of the retailer’s offers is a Harp String garden set on sale for £100 which could see shoppers save £79 from the original cost of £179.

The set is made up of a table, two chairs, and one bench which a customer described as “really comfy” while another shopper said the set is “stylish”.

Dunelm is also selling two loungers for £60 instead of £75 and a garden sofa set for £300 – down from £499.

If you’re looking for a new deck chair to relax and sunbathe in your garden, or take with you to the beach, take a look at the items on sale at The Range.

A deck chair with tropical leaf decorations is now on sale for £19.99, which is £10 cheaper than its original price of £29.99.

The retailer is also selling a patio heater for £127.99, down from £199.99, and a three-seater swing bed for £149.99, down from £229.99.

Homebase

If you love hosting BBQ nights and want to add a special touch to your dinner menu, a pizza oven could be a good option.

Homebase is selling a gas 12” outdoor pizza oven for £95, discounted from its original price of £190, as part of its clearance sale.

The retailer also cut the price of a charcoal BBQ from £170 to £100.

And you can also bag a garden park bench for just £50 – saving 50% from its original price of £100.

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
