Simon Cowell is left SHOCKED as he gets a pie to the face during Britain’s Got Talent semi final as fans describe the moment as ‘just perfection’

Simon Cowell received an unexpected surprise during the Britain’s Got Talent semi final on Wednesday night.

The judge, 68, was left shocked after Welsh dance troop Troll Dancers took the chance during their performance to play a cheeky trick on the star.

As the group, made up of 30 six to ten year olds from TDM Stage in Sandfields, Port Talbot, danced around the stage in a colourful, fun pop sensation, one troll headed down to meet Simon armed with a spray can.

The troll then proceeded to spray Simon with the cream pie filling, much to the delight of the audience and fellow judges.

Amanda Holden leapt out the way to avoid getting any cream on her pink dress as she ran away.

While Ant and Dec asked the judges for feedback, Simon took his chance to get one back on Amanda as he threw a handful of cream her way.

Amanda was then ready for war as she exclaimed: ‘I am going to get you back’ as she tried to plan her next move while gushing over how incredible the Troll Dancer’s performance was.

Taking to Twitter fans shared their delight at the prank as they wrote: ‘wow Pure chaos! We expect nothing less from those cheeky lil Troll Dancers’.

‘Totally brilliant’; ‘I loved the chaos! You could tell they were having the time of their lives tonight’.

‘I don’t like Trolls but Simon getting pied in the face for the second time this series by a bunch of kids was just perfection’.

Another suggested: ‘Would have been funnier if they’d have foamed Amanda & Alesha’, while another joked they will be trying to pie King Charles if they perform at the Royal Variety performance.

Meanwhile the Britain’s Got Talent semi final got off to a dramatic start as pogo act Duncan Murray kicked off the show on Wednesday evening

The Canadian pogoist returned to the stage with his updated act after first wowing the judges when he jumped over hosts Ant and Dec during his audition.

However, things didn’t quite go to plan for the student as fans were left furious on Twitter before the performance had even begun.

Viewers took to social media enraged that yet another act on the British talent contest wasn’t from the UK, as Duncan is in fact Canadian.

And things went from bad to worse after his friend, who he recruited for the performance, fell mid bounce and was left on the stage awkwardly clapping along as Duncan continued bouncing.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans fumed: ‘#bgt #britainsgottalent come on surely you need to actually live in Britain to be on? Most of the acts have come to uk just to enter the competition? Have we really no talent?’

‘Oops Douglas, what an admission. Your vision is Vegas, not the Royal Variety Show… wrong country!!!’

That makes a change; an international act! Honestly a man on a pogo stick! This counts for talent? This show is scrapping along the bottom of the barrel.’; ‘First act up… Canadian’.
