SIXFIELDS TRAVEL CLUB CONTINUE LONG STANDING SUPPORT OF THE CLUB

Sixfields Travel have continued their long partnership with Northampton Town Football Club as the Official Away Travel Partner in what will be their 25th year of service.

The Sixfields Travel Club was set up by Jenny and Barry Parker and friends in January 2000 with their first away game being Peterborough United. Since then, they have gone from strength to strength and now have a committee made up of 12 supporters who work voluntarily, organising coaches to all away games.

Barry and Jenny Parker of Sixfields Travel said, “We are delighted to be the Official Away Fan Travel Partner for Northampton Town Football Club. We have supported and followed the Cobblers home and away since the 1960s, going to over 2,500 games in that time. So far, we have raised over £306,000 and it is all thanks to the hard-working committee and all the supporters who travel with us up and down the country throughout the season.”

Northampton Town Commercial Director James Corrigan said: “We are delighted with the support from the Sixfields Travel Club and their increased commitment to the football club for the 24/25 season. We want to help and support the Sixfields Travel Club as much as possible, they provide incredible support, as well as a great friendly service to supporters. Sixfields Travel play an integral part in our away support, facilitating supporters getting to away ganes and having the best time cheering the team on.”
