Skincare fans go wild over 101-year-old who looks decades younger

SKINCARE fans are shocked by a 101-year-old who looks decades younger.

While effective, her grandson warned that her anti-aging skincare routine costs a pretty penny.

Redditor KeepGettingTexts shared the beauty routine in a viral post.

“Today is Gran’s 101st birthday and she wanted to show off another dress for this birthday,” he wrote.

His grandmother sported a colorful red dress littered with yellow, blue, green, and orange flowers.

While Granny cared deeply about her fit, others were more concerned about getting the youthful-looking woman’s skincare routine.

“She’s absolutely beautiful and doesn’t look a day over 80!” said one shocked viewer.

“Tell her we want her skincare routine because she looks amazing,” said another.

The grandson, however, warned people to be careful what they wished for.

“I don’t think I should advertise her routine. What I failed to notice last year was when I asked my mom her routine, I posted it without checking prices,” he said.

“They’re all professional-level products that make sense if you’re selling a service like a facial, but don’t really make sense for the average non-Kardashian consumer.

“It’s still in the post from last year, but I’d like to warn you it’s like $800 in product.”

Skincare Tips to Stay Young and Refreshed

Curious Redditors shared the highly coveted routine after doing a bit of digging.

“Since there are so many of you wonderful souls that want Gran’s skincare routine, I asked her personal aesthetician (my mom, lol) and this is the text I got verbatim,” the grandson had written the year before.

He revealed that his grandmother exclusively used Osmosis skincare products.

To wash her face, she reached for the brand’s $48 Lift Away Cleansing Balm.

Next, she chooses from a selection of three Osmosis serums, the Retinal, Repair C, or Growth Factor serum, depending on the time of day and her needs.

Last but not least, his grandmother locked in hydration with Osmosis’ Restorative Face and Neck cream.

His granny opted for Facial Infusion facial treatments for an extra boost.

One commenter who did the math revealed that the grandson had been true to his word.

“A quick estimate is somewhere in the $650 – $700 range, including the facial,” he said.

Another viewer added that while the routine was indeed expensive, equally effective but affordable alternatives can be found.

“[I’m a] skincare nerd. This is a pretty dupe-able routine using more affordable products,” he said.

“At the end of the day what’s important here would be focusing on hydrating ingredients for cleansers/moisturizers, a retinol (even better, prescription tretinoin which is typically way cheaper than OTC retinols), and a decent vitamin C.

“The one thing that will be difficult to find for cheaper would be the stem cell serum… but it’s also not necessarily proven that stem cell/growth factors are the most effective when applied topically.

“It could probably be swapped out for a peptide serum instead!”
