Spurs’ Conor Gallagher advantage, Chris Fuhrich truth and Postecoglou’s decision

It is now only six days until the summer transfer window officially opens so what business can we expect Tottenham Hotspur to do?

Spurs swiftly re-signed Timo Werner for another season on loan with an option to buy him in 2025 for £8.5m should they choose to, while a number of players have been released from the club such as Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga with Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic joining Bayern Munich and Hajduk Split respectively.

Various clubs across the Premier League need to sell players before the end of June in order to comply with the profit and sustainability rules which means the final couple of weeks of this month are expected to be far busier than normal, with Spurs in a strong position to take advantage.

Tottenham have been linked with a string of British players this summer, including England internationals Conor Gallagher, Eberechi Eze and Ivan Toney, while the media across Europe continue to throw the club’s name in with various stars across the continent who are looking for a move and will do so until the window closes on Friday August 30 at 11pm.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is not only looking for new signings but also a new assistant head coach after Chris Davies was snapped up by Birmingham City to be their new manager this week.

Our Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold will be discussing all of the above and all things Tottenham Hotspur in the chatroom below in the comments section. You can take part and ask about any topics that cross your mind about the club.
