Stage times, entry rules and travel warnings for Taylor Swift’s Dublin concerts

Taylor Swift is finally bringing her iconic Eras Tour to Dublin this weekend, playing three sold out shows to over 150,000 fans at the Aviva stadium.

There are many rules for concert goers to follow, not to mention endless traffic warnings and Ticketmaster notices for customers.




If you’re attending any of the concerts this weekend, here is everything you need to know.

When do doors open and can you pre-queue?

The concerts are taking place on Friday 28 June, Saturday 29 June and Sunday 30 June at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Doors open at 5pm. There is strictly no early queuing or camping permitted prior to doors opening.

A limited number of early entry VIP ticket holders – the Karma is My Boyfriend Package and the It’s A Love Story Package – will be granted access shortly before general doors.

If patrons do show up early, security and the guards will be on patrol to turn people away who do not have an early entry ticket.

Who is opening up for Taylor Swift?

The incredible Paramore is the special guest for Taylor Swift and will perform on each night.

What time will Paramore and Taylor Swift be on stage?

Going by previous shows, Paramore will be on stage at exactly 6pm and play for around 45 minutes. Taylor is expected to take the stage at 7.15pm and play for three-and-a-half hours, ending around 10.40pm.

What are the rules to gain entry to the Taylor Swift concert?

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult (25+)

Those aged 5-16 may stand on pitch once accompanied

Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional or commercial cameras / photography equipment, video cameras, gopros, audio recording devices, or tripods, video or audio recording (except personal mobile phones) will not be permitted.

A phone charging power bank is permitted, provided it’s no bigger than your phone.

No extendable or attachable lenses on cameras or mobile phones allowed.

No glass, hard plastic or metal containers of any kind are permitted. Ticket holders will be permitted a clear, soft plastic water bottle, no larger than 500ml.

What is the best way to travel to the Aviva stadium?

You should plan and book your travel arrangements to get to and from the stadium in advance. Allow for at least an extra 3 hours travel time to and from the venue.

There is no car parking at the venue and as traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are strongly encouraged to walk, use public transport and private coach services.

Extra DART services will be operating before and after the concert.

There are 5 coloured coded routes to access the stadium. Check your ticket to see which colour route your seat is located in.

What food and drink will be available at the Taylor Swift concert?

All bars and food kiosks will be open on all levels. It’s important to note that the Aviva Stadium is cashless, which means no cash will be accepted at any bars or food outlets, however all bank cards, Apple, Android and Google Pay are accepted.

Things to know about the Taylor Swift concerts

There are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs or stools permitted.

The event will take place in rain, hail or shine, please check the weather in advance and dress accordingly – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ponchos and sun cream but remember – no umbrellas.

Patrons are advised now to bring large bags/backpacks as they may be refused entry.

There are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.
