Subsea7 connecting North Sea Belinda subsea infrastructure

Offshore staff

LUXEMBOURGSerica Energy has commissioned Subsea7 to manage subsea installations for the Belinda Field development, southeast of the Triton FPSO in the UK central North Sea.

The location is 190 km east of Aberdeen in a water depth of 95 m.

Subsea7’s work scope covers project management, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a 5-km, 8-inch production pipeline with a 3-inch piggy-backed gas-lift line and an electro-hydraulic controls umbilical.

In addition, the company will install associated subsea structures and perform tie-ins to the Dana Petroleum-operated FPSO via an existing production manifold near the Triton riser base, also fitting control connections at the Evelyn Field valve skid.

Offshore activities are due to take place in summer 2025.

Subsea7 said the contract is worth between $50 million and $150 million.
