Taylor Swift super-fans look ahead to Dublin concerts

Are you ready for it?

Taylor Swift will bring her Eras tour to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium for three sold-out nights this weekend.

Excitement is reaching fever pitch for fans who were lucky enough to get tickets.

27-year-old Claire from Belfast has been a fan of Taylor Swift since she was 12 and says she feels like she has grown up with her music.

“I first saw her in concert in 2011 in a small venue in Belfast and now to see her achieve over 100 shows in sold-out stadiums around the world is just incredible,” she said.

Claire has already seen the Eras tour multiple times and says it is “just as phenomenal as everyone says it is.”

Robyn Kelly (23) from Co Wicklow has been busy making friendship bracelets in the run-up to the Dublin shows that she hopes to trade with other Swifties.

“I’ve been so excited for this tour for a long time,” she said. “I’m very excited to see what surprise songs there might be. I have a couple of my favourites I’d like to hear but I’ll just be so happy to be there.”

Merve Ure (28) is from Turkey and lives and works in Dublin. She recently traveled to Stockholm to see the Eras tour.

“I don’t think there’s going to be another Eras tour any time soon where people get to see everything at the same time – the dancing, the costumes, the visuals, it’s very fun.”
