No. 2 Longmeadow (5), No. 10 Sharon (0) (Quarterfinals)

Longmeadow swept Sharon, 5-0, in the Division II state quarterfinals on Friday at home.

The Lancers’ Sarah Tiru defeated Judy Song 6-1, 6-2 in first singles, while Sophie Dove defeated Navya Shukla in second singles 6-3, 6-3. Bailey Downes defeated Alina Hou in third singles, 6-2, 6-3.

Lia Manoussoff and Grace Tyler defeated Jenny Sand and Olivia Ladstein in first doubles 6-3, 6-2. Marly Ducharme and Kelc Talati defeated Lila Hogan and Heather Hou in second doubles 6-4, 6-3.

The Lancers will now face No. 3 Westborough in the state semifinals.
