Texas Teachers adds Tallvine to infrastructure manager lineup

Teacher Retirement System of Texas has added Tallvine Partners Management to its infrastructure manager by issuing a $154m (€143.4m) commitment to the manager.

The pension fund said it has committed $150m to Tallvine Middle Market Infrastructure Fund I and placed $4m into Tallvine Emerald Management Holdings.

The commitment to Fund I will be used to target mid-market value-add US infrastructure investments.

Texas Teachers also said it placed $150m into the Macquarie Infrastructure Partners-managed Tython Limited Partnership, which also targets US value-add investments.
