TAKE a look at the stunning European destination with golden sand beaches, 26C heat, carnivals and €25 Ryanair flights.

Ryanair offers flights to Pisa from €25 and it only takes 30 minutes by bus to reach the seaside city.

The area is known for its picturesque streets, sandy beaches and carnival events – and boasts sunny temperatures of 26C and above.

There is a wide variety of exciting things for visitors to see and do with a mix of ancient history, streets, wine-tasting and pasta classes and trips to the golden sandy beaches.

Lido di Camaiore beach is one of the main charms that the area has to offer – and it’s just minutes from the heart of the busy city.

Tourists flock to the popular beach spot for its soft golden sand, crystal clear waters and breathtaking views of the Apuan Alps which can be seen from the beach.

The beach offers sunbeds with an umbrella and a table, offering a relaxing experience at the beach at cheap rates.

Along the beach, you will find cafes, restaurants, bars and local shops.

The venues by the beach often provide local cuisine and products that represent the city and the country, meaning a lot of yummy pasta to try out.

And there are many beaches nearby, including Bagno Maurizio, Spiaggia della Lecciona and Bagno Amedea Viareggio.

Viareggio is the oldest of the coastal towns in Versilia and boasts incredible streets to explore, with gorgeous plants on the streets, local shops and museums telling the tales of the origins which are Romans and the Middle Ages.

It is well-known for its affordable pasta-tasting classes, with tourists travelling all over the world to try delicious pasta from scratch with some wine from the local vineyard.

Many restaurants and pubs can be found on the streets, with a bottle of beer costing as little as €2, while a meal out at a mid-range restaurant will cost €12.

There are many nightlife events held in the city, expressing the culture of the Southern Italians at the local pubs and clubs and the famous carnival parades throughout the city.

Locals often urge visitors to see the Villa Argentina, one of the popular attractions in the town.

It is a beautifully restored villa with exhibitions of many of the best Italian artists – and they have seasonal photographic exhibitions.

They also urge tourists to visit UNESCO World Heritage-listed Cinque Terre – the famous fishing village that clings to the Ligurian cliffs.

The village boasts five areas with colourful houses, vineyards at the edge of the cliffs, steep terraces and harbours filled with fishing boats.

Tourists can also take a day trip to the famous Pisa, where it is best known for its iconic Leaning Tower.
