The Week in Fashion: Nicola Coughlan and Kaia Gerber Sizzle in New Summer Campaigns

Welcome to the Week in Fashion, Bazaar’s at-a-glance guide to what the industry is talking about.

Nicola Coughlan Trades Her Regency Dress for Skims Shapewear

It’s been a big month for Nicola Coughlan, who finally took her turn as lead for season three of Bridgerton, promoting the latest installment with a stylish press tour around the globe. Now, the Irish star has put down her quill and traded her Regency-era clothes for something a little more modern—a collection of dresses from Skims.

Following in the lead of celebrities like Lana Del Rey, SZA, and Sabrina Carpenter, Coughlan is the latest star to show her support for Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, by modeling in a new campaign where she rocks the brand’s Soft Lounge slip dress.

“Everybody’s wearing Skims,” Coughlan says as she sports the viral dress in a fluorescent lemonade color. A film and TV star, accent maestro, and fashion model—is there anything Nicola can’t do?

Celine Stretches Into New Territory with Pilates Collection

You’ll surely be the envy of all your mat neighbors if you roll up to your next Pilates class sporting this new Celine collection.

On Monday, the luxury French fashion house announced a combination of equipment and ready-to-wear pieces that will be available to shop starting October 2024 in the Soho, Rodeo Dr., and Miami stores, as well as online. The collection ranges from workout pieces like dumbbells and kettle balls to activewear like sports bras, and many of the products feature the brand’s signature Triomphe Coated Canvas.

To add some star power, the brand recruited none other than Kaia Gerber to model the new collection, who looked effortlessly chic and sporty.

Burberry Brings Its Stylish Touch to the Pitch

From the rise of tenniscore to the continuous embrace of jerseys, it seems that sports-inspired style is not going anywhere anytime soon. Now, Burberry is getting in on the fun with a new series of videos that celebrate the connection between soccer (or as those across the pond call it, football) and British culture.

The brand recruited soccer stars Phil Foden and Eberechi Eze to appear in the campaign, where they get candid about their journeys with the sport.

Of course, Burberry is also known for its strong ties to British culture, and the signature codes of the brand were on full display in the campaign, with Foden wearing a quilted coat and Eze sporting a matching set from the label. In one still, a soccer ball was even transformed to include the classic Burberry Check.

Away and La Ligne’s New Travel Collection Sprouted from a Close Friendship

The new capsule collection from Away and La Ligne is not just the result of two chic brands coming together, but it also the story of two friends uniting their labors of love.

Turns out, Away co-founder and CEO Jen Rubio has known La Ligne co-founder Molly Howard for quite some time. The two not only take many trips together, but they also welcomed their children around the same time, so they thought it only natural to take their friendship to the next level by working on a project that centers on travel.

Thus, we have the new Away x La Ligne collection, which combines the sleek design and reliable durability of Away suitcases with the stylish codes and beachy aesthetics of La Ligne. (Oh, and the campaign featured none other than five-time Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne, who posed with the new products.)

The collection, which is available to shop now, features Away packing cubes, sunglasses pouches, and micro bags for all your packing needs. Then, you can stay cozy during your journey wearing one of the sweaters, pants, pajamas, tees, or hats from La Ligne.

The café, which opened on June 20, is located on the lower level of Bergdorf Goodman, and you can visit from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m, where they offer lunch, teatime, and aperitivo.
