These are the fashion brands to expect in Amazon’s Prime Day sale
With Amazon Prime Day on the horizon, many of us are looking forward to massive reductions from some of our favourite brands – and as a fashion writer, these are the ones I expect to see discounts from
Gird your loins, people, one of the biggest shopping events of the year is almost upon us. That’s right – Amazon Prime Day is coming and so, like many, we are mentally preparing ourselves for the sheer volume of discounts heading our way on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17. It’s a perfect opportunity for shoppers to pick up new wardrobe staples, beauty products, coffee machines, gadgets – such as this Ring doorbell – and random paraphernalia you never knew you needed.
But before you get excited, the Prime Day discounts are only available to Prime members and you can sign up to Amazon Prime, here, for £8.99 a month. Your initial month will be free as the subscription includes a 30-day free trial. Find out more here.
Now, as one of The Mirror’s Fashion writers, it may come as no surprise that I am most excited to see which clothing brands will be slashing their prices and, as this is not my first Prime Day rodeo, I have some idea of what sort of labels and powerhouses will be discounting their items – if the past few years are anything to go by.

I am no gatekeeper, so I thought I’d share with you just some of the brands I am expecting big price-cuts from, so you can keep an eye out over the epic two-day sale occurring next Tuesday and Wednesday. And, at the time of writing, some brands had already begun their price drops – although of course, prices are subject to change.
First up, we have an iconic shoe brand: Dr Martens. Last Prime Day saw a plethora of lace-ups, sandals, Chelsea boots, Oxford shoes and more vastly reduced and we expect this time to be no different – especially seeing as the brand consistently runs sales throughout the year on the shopping giant. Some of its shoes are even reduced at the moment on there, for example its Dr. Martens Women’s Blaire Sandal are currently £83.30 down from £110 (the RRP on Dr Martens’ website). Not to mention the iconic Dr. Martens Unisex-Adult Virginia 1460 Lace-Up Boots are now £136 (was £170).
If those prices aren’t enough to get you excited for Prime Day, I don’t know what is.
Now, if you’re not a fan of DMs, I get it. Crocs may be more your thing – who doesn’t love a bit of comfort? While there are currently lower than usual prices for these spongey, cloud-like clogs – these classic Crocs on Amazon are £35.99 down from £44.99, while these Crocband ones are £37.50 down from £49.99 – it’s bound to be even better once Prime Day comes around. Although if you can’t wait for Prime Day, Crocs has already launched its own summer sale, which has its shoes reduced by up to 60%.
Birkenstock lovers may also be in for a treat this year as over the last year, we’ve seen a number of their slider designs reduced on Amazon. Earlier in the spring, the Birkenstock Unisex White Arizona Mules were reduced from £44.99 to £36.50, while the women’s Arizona’s were dropped from £69.95 to £44.77. Currently, the shopping site has the Birkenstock Boston SL (Superlauf) closed leather shoes reduced from £113.99 to £89.18 and the Unisex-Adult Arizona Birko-Flor Nubuck Sandals at £66.09 from £84.50. My fingers are crossed for even more reductions next week.
And you need a decent pair of denim jeans or jacket to go with your new shoes, too, and Levi’s Amazon prices last year truly wowed me – so I’m expecting this year will be equally as astonishing as already I’m seeing some incredible prices for the expertly made jeans.
The classic 501 men’s jeans in the brand’s original fit are currently retailing on Amazon for £59.95 – down from £76.12 – meanwhile the women’s 501 jeans are £80 down from £101.89. It’s not just their denim trousers that are currently reduced ahead of Prime Day either as its timeless Trucker jacket has 41% off currently and costs £65 down from £109.95 – plus all sizes are still available.
If you’re a bit of a designer fiend, we expect Calvin Klein will be treating you on Amazon Prime Days as some prices are already dropping on its classic underwear. For example, this bralette, with the iconic Calvin Klein branded strip, is just £20 down from £35, as is its triangle unlined bra here. Treat yourself to some CK briefs too at their lowest price in 30 days for £20. It’s not just underwear either as there are some gorgeous CK earrings currently on offer, like these dangle and drop warped rings earrings for £60 at 33% off – although on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, we’re sure there will be an abundance to choose from.
CK isn’t the only designer brand available on Amazon as the likes of Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger and Prada are all available – we’ve got our fingers crossed for some stellar discounts come July 16. Although if you can’t wait until then, Ted Baker’s up to 70% off sale is currently running with some incredible discounts, like this Isolde midi trench coat in a lovely purple shade for £88 down from £295.
Roman clothing is another to watch out for this Prime Day as it’s likely you’ll see some further discounts. For now, on Amazon you can get this stretch denim jacket for £28 rather than £38 here, as well as this skater style ruched swing midi dress that has 73% off and is now £12. With a flattering waistband and pleats, the style is lovely for a variety of occasions and comes in a plethora of different patterns from pink polka-dot to royal-blue.
Now of course, these aren’t the only brands we’re expecting for Prime Day in the world of fashion, but they are just some of what you can expect. If you want to take full advantage of the Amazon Prime Day sales, which will take place on Tuesday, June 16 to Wednesday, June 17, sign up to Amazon Prime here.
