Three arrested over man’s death released without charge

Three people, who were arrested in connection with the fatal assault of a 34-year-old man in Dublin earlier this year, have been released without charge.

Kevin Walsh, from Allenton Green in Tallaght, was found with serious injuries at an apartment in Shackelton, Lucan, at around 3am on Sunday 7 January.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where he died that evening.

He was well-known to gardaí and had a conviction for manslaughter.

Two women in their 40s and a man in his 30s were arrested yesterday as part of the investigation into the man’s death but have since been released without charge.

Gardaí said a file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
