Three people rescued from River Liffey
Three people were rescued from River Liffey last night.
Firefighters and paramedics from Tara Street and Phibsborough were alerted to the incident. The brave crew managed to bring all three people to safety during the course of the rescue.
A Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson said on X: “Firefighters/Paramedics from Tara Street and Phibsborough responded to reports of three people in the River Liffey along with two of our ambulances earlier this evening. Swiftwater Rescue Technicians were deployed along with our rescue boat, and three people were brought to safety.”
