Daily horse racing tips
- HAYDOCK
3.05: Cool Dividend 13/2 Each-way (1pt)
4.40: Forever Blue 3/1 (1pt) - HAMILTON
3.25: Roman Dragon 13/2 Each-way (1pt) - LEOPARDSTOWN
5.30: Keeper’s Heart 6/4 (1.5pts)
Cool Dividend
Gelded back in October after a couple of disappointing runs but still with plenty of promise.
Returned from a break in May at Doncaster when dropped to 6f in trip, and that’s clearly suited as he was second again but only by under two lengths.
It’s solid form too with Piz Nair in behind, Midnight Lair and others who are bit more experienced.
Cool Dividend is still unexposed over this distance and should just get better on his second run this season and over 6f.
Forever Blue
Not Real looks great for this having won comfortably for the first time after a close second at Kempton on debut.
She does have to carry top-weight for that victory though and could be up to the standard to fend off Forever Blue who has been given a rating of 95 having placed just three lengths off the winner in the Group 3 Prestige Fillies’ Stakes back in August.
Not Real fetched 500,000 euros in the breeze ups though so might have more to offer going forward.
The filly trained by Roger Varian cruised at Redcar over 6f but was given 10lb by second placed Pendlebury Lane who is rated quite lowly in comparison so it’s difficult to gauge.
Upscale was just behind the once 1000 Guineas favourite Dance Sequence on debut at Newmarket last summer, which has obviously worked out well with that filly now rated 110.
But Upscale was 11th of 11 at Doncaster when 100/30 favourite so she needs to improve a huge amount.
As a result, Forever Blue seems to have the best form which has been proven and also has the advantage of being given 2lb.
Roman Dragon
Returned from a small break to come a decent fourth of 11 at Chester in a Class 2 handicap only a length off of Democracy Dilemma.
Most read in Horse Racing
Six wins and six second places from 27 runs suggests he’s going to continue his consistency here.
Back up to 6f for the first time since winning in Bahrain and should keep improving as a five-year-old, even if just for a place with a good chance at a win in this field.
Keeper’s Heart
Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien combine on this Dubawi colt, who has only won once in eight runs, but has often been close up in defeat to some top class horses.
Including fourth last time out to Arabian Crown at Sandown in the Classic Trial, over 1m2f.
Upped to 1m4f should suit further but Keeper’s Heart is his closest competitor as he was close up behind Los Angeles at Leopardstown in May.
He’s less exposed and has the potential to be better having blown the start last time out and still stayed close to his rivals, including Euphoric.
