Tina has set up the page Paul’s Flame to raise money for people suffering with post traumatic stress disorder, which her partner suffered with after serving in the army.

The description for the page, says: ‘I have set up a charity to create a legacy for my husband Paul Anthony Chase Malone who took his own life on March 13th this year.

‘After suffering with chronic ptsd for years after serving in the 22nd regiment of the Cheshires for over ten years serving in Calgary, Northern Ireland, Falklands, Cyprus, Iraq, Afghanistan

‘Struggling with debt, unemployment his depression manifested into alcohol and drug abuse, self harming! He felt lost, useless, a burden, hopeless culminating in his suicide. Leaving myself and our ten year old daughter devastated, heartbroken with overwhelming sorrow.

‘We aim to create a fund that will support individuals, small charities in crisis. A board of twelve trustees will distribute the funds to those in need particularly for those with mental health issues…

‘Veterans, single parents, working families struggling. The more money we raise the more people we help! Please donate every amount helps. Tina Malone x’

Tina revealed she was trying to raise £10,000 for the charity, which has currently received £450 in donations so far.

The Shameless actress shared her fury that she had not received more donations, assuring her followers that the money would go to ‘people in crisis’.

Tina then added that she was going to try and get out of the house and take her dogs for a walk, but admitted that leaving the house makes her feel ‘anxious’

She said: ‘I wanted to raise £10,000! For people in crisis, not for me or Flame! What’s £10 per person? People raise £33M, £50,000. I can’t even raise £5,000.

Tina added: ‘I better get off here or I’m going to say stuff I shouldn’t… Am I missing something? Just makes me think what’s the point of anything.’

She later apologised for her rant, saying: ‘Thank you for all of your comments, I apologise if I sounded aggressive last night, I’m just so bereft. Truly heartbroken, 15 years together. I miss him so badly.

‘Thank you for your donations I am truly moved’.

Tina then added that she was going to try and get out of the house and take her dogs for a walk, but admitted that leaving the house makes her feel ‘anxious’.

Tina recently admitted Paul’s death did not come as a shock as she saw how badly his mental health had been effected by his time serving.

She said he turned to ‘drink, drugs and painkillers’ in order to numb the pain.

Tina also told how the house is exactly as it was since Paul died four months ago and she has washed and ironed all his clothes.

Recalling his funeral, Tina added: ”After the funeral, we partied until late. We ate all of Paul’s favourite food and I was the first on the dancefloor because, well, that was just me and Paul.’

Tina added that her grief over losing Paul is still raw and she doesn’t think she will ever love a man like him again.

She said: ‘I have never and will never love any other man like I do Paul. I want to be with him and I will be with him one day.’

The actress told how she recently saw an old couple holding hands near her home and thought to herself she will never have that.

The soap star said an army officer told her the army doesn’t do enough to help soldiers readjust to civilian life, noting how other armies give ex-soldiers ‘a pot of money’ they can use to re-train or set up their onw businesses.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Tina told how she and her daughter took a barbeque to Paul’s grave to mark what would have been his 42nd birthday in late May (pictured in 2013)

Tina recently launched Paul’s Flame alongside her late husband’s sister. The charity aims to help people with cash payments during desperate times.

Tina and Paul met at a boot camp event where he was a personal trainer after her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.

But their relationship was troubled in 2017 as Tina was arrested and cautioned for cocaine possession – being sacked from a pantomime in the process – while Paul lost his job caring for violent teenagers.

The couple were left facing bankruptcy and Tina says his mental health spiralled during this time, using prescription drugs and cocaine in an attempt to cope before attempting to take his own life.

He was admitted to psychiatric care, and was given help by an veterans charity, but Tina said he would experience mood swings.

The couple shared one daughter together called Flame, now 11, who Tina gave birth to in 2013 following IVF, when she was 50 years old (pictured all together in 2014)
