Top 40 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings for 2024
Most fantasy football drafts are a couple of months out, but the arrival of the summer means it’s time to start preparing. And step one in that preparation is getting your rankings down.
Here are my initial fantasy football rankings for every position, and now it’s time to dig deeper into each position.
Quarterback has been a tricky position in fantasy football over the years. It’s used to be highly valued until the “late-round quarterback” approach took hold. An influx in rushing production and overall elite play over the last few years has caused yet another shift. So let’s take a deeper look at the quarterback rankings, as well as who some of the top values and busts are for 2024.

Now, let’s take a look at the biggest quarterback values and risks based on who is ranked significantly ahead or below their current average draft position (ADP) values from FantasyPros.
Jayden Daniels (Ranked QB12, ADP QB17)
I have Daniels ranked higher than many other analysts, as his skills as a passer and more importantly, a runner, gives him a high ceiling. Think about what Robert Griffin III did in his rookie campaign. I can see Daniels pushing for those kind of totals, making his current ADP price quite the bargain.
Kirk Cousins (Ranked QB13, ADP QB18)
Cousins is coming off a torn Achilles and is playing in a new offense, one that doesn’t include Justin Jefferson. Still, he was on pace to throw for 5,000 yards last year before getting hurt, and the Falcons have some nice young weapons ini the form of Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Kyle Pitts. He should easily retain a spot in the top 15 among quarterbacks, barring any injury-related issues.
Tua Tagovailoa (Ranked QB16, ADP QB13)
Tagovailoa can put up a big stat line at anytime in an explosive Miami offense, but he’s also been unreliable for fantasy managers … especially on the road. He can also be tough to trust in cold weather conditions, which is a problem when you consider that Tua has to play at the frozen tundra in Green Bay in November, and in Cleveland during fantasy championship week (Week 17).
Caleb Williams (Ranked QB18, ADP QB14)
I’m a fan of Williams, as I can easily see him being pushed into the top 15 among quarterbacks. He is a rookie, though, and he doesn’t have the rushing skills of Daniels. I might move the USC product up in future rankings updates, but for now I’m keeping him on the mid-QB2 level in fantasy drafts.
