Tuesday Lucky 15 and Tuesday horse racing tips – Ed Quigley

Top Tipster and Broadcaster, Ed ‘Longshot Ted’ Quigley smashed in a 12/1 winner at the weekend, and is back with a Lucky 15 for the Tuesday action.

Ted’s picks for Tuesday, Lucky 15, May 28:

Find the following picks for Tuesday races. Play on the races with our best expert-rated horse racing betting sites:

  • Brighton 2.15 – Secret Handsheikh – bet with bet365
  • Leicester 4.25 – Mammy – bet with CopyBet
  • Leicester 5.10 – Enderman – bet with talkSPORT BET
  • Bangor 6.55 – Tregele – bet with BetUK

Brighton 2.15 – Secret Handsheikh

SECRET HANDSHEIKH is an enigmatic individual, but returning to Brighton off a mark of 63 can see the 6-year-old back in the thick of the action here. The gelding is no 1lb lower than when last successful, with that win coming over this course and distance, so there are plenty of reasons for optimism here.

Secret Handsheikh has two wins and a placed effort from just the five starts over the trip and track, so this is clearly a venue that plays to his strengths. Christian Howarth is in the saddle claiming a valuable 3lbs, so all in all, this combination look well treated ahead of this assignment at the Sussex venue.

Leicester 4.25 – Mammy

MAMMY made some noticeable late-headway to finish runner-up over 6f at Wolverhampton last time out, and a reproduction of that effort would see the daughter of Bated Breath have every chance of shedding her maiden tag in this Fillies’ Handicap.

The drop back to a strongly-run 6f seemed to suit her well, and she fairly came home with a wet-sail, finding only one rival too good. Igf she can translate her All-Weather form back to the turf, then this improving sort has every chance of defying a mark of 67. James Doyle takes the ride on the Michael Bell trained individual, and they look to have major claims.

Redcar 5.10 – Enderman

ENDERMAN has been frustrating and consistent in equal measure, but looks to have everything in his favour for this encounter. He won on his only previous start over course and distance, and so this track can see Enderman go one place better than his previous two starts, and get back in the winner’s enclosure here.

A mark of 58 shouldn’t be beyond him, and he has the valuable experience of Mr Simon Walker for this amateur event. Underfoot conditions are another positive – his best form has come on deep ground, so with plenty a rain around the Redcar area, the ground is expected to be riding very soft. All in all, he is ticking all the right boxes for this assignment.

Bangor 6.55 – Tregele each way

TREGELE shaped with much more zest when fifth at Ffos Las a fortnight ago, when cutting out a lot of the running in that 2m4f Handicap Hurdle, then staying on the one-pace in the closing stages. That was an encouraging display, and the step up to 2m7f looks ideal for this lightly-raced 6-year-old.

The extra distance, dovetailed with eased to a mark of 104 can see Kim Bailey’s charge get right in the shake-up. Ciaran Gethings is in the saddle, and looking at the gelding’s pedigree, it shouldn’t be an inconvenience if any rain hits the track and softens up underfoot conditions. He looks a solid each-way play.
